Let’s dive in and meet with @Lene Ljødal, our Marketing Director:

Hey, Lene. Tell us, how did you end up joining På(fyll)?

I put the word out on LinkedIn that I was looking for my next job, and an industry colleague spotted my post and recommended me to Rayson, our CEO, who was looking for someone like me. After a great conversation with Rayson, I felt an instant connection to På(fyll) and decided to take on the challenge of applying for the opening they had. And, voilá: here I am!

The power of social media! Next question: What's the most exciting thing about being part of På(fyll)? What gets you out of bed in the morning?

There are so many things that make being part of På(fyll) very rewarding, but what really gets me out of bed in the morning? I think it's a chance to be part of something different and meaningful, not only today - but for the future. I get to spread the word about this amazing service in the booming industry we're in.

I love that På(fyll) is sustainable by default, and that we can spend our time on breaking down those difficult sustainability topics in a down-to-earth and easy-to-understand way.

So how does a day working at På(fyll) look for you?

The marketing and communication department as of now is just me (for now - we are hiring btw), so during my day I wear many hats and juggle various tasks. From collaborating with some great agencies to strategizing on our marketing efforts, creating content for our social media, there's never a dull moment. I get to dive into creative projects, brainstorm innovative ideas, and find ways to make På(fyll) shine in the industry. It's all about bringing that down-to-earth vibe and making sustainability approachable for everyone. And of course, there's always room for a good dose of fun and laughter along the way.

Now, let's take a deeper dive. In your view, what makes På(fyll) stand out and be the best thing about it?

For me, the true gem of På(fyll) is the shared sense of purpose that runs deep within our team. We're all driven by a common mission: to establish sustainability as the norm and make a positive impact on the world. And the most impressive thing is that we achieve all of this while prioritizing work-life balance through our remote and asynchronous work practices. As a mom to a one year old, this is particularly meaningful to me.

At På(fyll) we're a close-knit crew, and I can't stress enough how wonderful it feels to collaborate with such talented and passionate individuals. I know all of my fellow colleagues in this column have also raved about one another, but let me tell you, it's absolutely true: we have an incredible team!
