Hey, @Bård Bringsrud Svensen! How did you end up joining På(fyll)?
Luckily, I was there right from the start of På(fyll). Our team was a dream team, combining talents from three visionary companies: @Æra, @Bakken & Bæck, and @Orkla.
Back in November 2019, we had a clear goal and a pressing mission—to find smart alternatives to single-use plastic packaging. As the Orkla representative, my expertise in consumer goods innovation came in handy. Together, fueled by our passion for innovation and our determination to make a difference, we embarked on this journey towards a more sustainable future.
What's the most exciting thing about being part of På(fyll)? What gets you out of bed in the morning?
Being part of På(fyll) is absolutely thrilling! We have the chance to revolutionize the way we think about packaging. It's an incredibly exciting alternative to single-use plastic in the consumer goods market.
I strongly believe that through innovative design in refillable solutions and raising consumer awareness, we can make a remarkable impact in the battle against plastic packaging waste. Together, we can pave the way towards a future where plastic packaging waste is a thing of the past.
Describe a typical day working at På(fyll)?
My role at På(fyll) involves making sure our physical systems, especially the refillable container system, run smoothly.
Each day at På(fyll) is an adventure filled with excitement and constant motion. As a startup, we thrive on building systems from scratch, always striving for optimal efficiency while embracing a "good enough" mindset. This exhilarating journey pushes us to unleash our creativity, think outside the box, and create a lasting impact.
What's the best thing about På(fyll) - in your opinion?
På(fyll) is a powerful testament to the fact that there's a better alternative to the outdated single-use system.
We show that every household can get their daily essentials in a sustainable way, without generating plastic waste. Our innovative approach offers a future-proof solution that goes beyond the convenience of traditional grocery shopping, providing an even more streamlined and efficient experience.
