How to organise with På(fyll) containers
16. april | AV PÅ(FYLL)™
Our containers are designed to fit in cupboards, drawers, benches, corners, shelves and floors. Read how to use På(fyll) to organise and create a system for the products you need every day.
When we started designing our containers, we focused on three things: durability, reusability and usability. The container had to be able to travel to hundreds of homes without breaking, and it had to be nice and practical enough for people to actually want to have it in their homes. We feel we’ve achieved that.
When you order a refill, the contents always come in the same container. It’s ‘greige’ (a cooler word for the mix of grey and beige), has clean lines and is anonymous enough not to steal attention on the kitchen counter. Because if we’re honest - the threshold for buying På(fyll) would probably be higher for you if it appeared as a neon yellow box. We’re not here to be your interior star. We’re here to help you organise and access the everyday products you use every day - while reducing plastic waste.
Stack, hide or show?
På(fyll) containers are designed to be placed in cupboards, drawers, benches, corners, shelves and floors. Wherever you feel like putting it when it’s half full. Here it can be stacked in height and width, while you have an overview of what products you have. The label on each container is positioned so that you can see what you have, no matter where and how you store your refills. The containers are also completely leak-proof, so you don’t risk spilling two litres of detergent if you put it on its side.
The containers hold 0.9 and 1.8 litres, you can read more about the sizes here.
Pour into dispensers
It’s difficult to spray kitchen spray out of the container (we realise that too). That’s why we've created handy dispensers that you pour the refill into, so that only what you actually use needs to be on display. By using these, or any other dispensers you have at home, you can move large containers out of sight and into the drawer system - ‘out of sight, out of mind’.
The dispensers follow the same design philosophy as our containers. With neutral colours, clean lines and the fact that they are made to last and last and last. That's also why we call them infinity dispensers.
An organised home = an organised mind
Organisation isn’t just for an aesthetically pleasing home, it can also be good for the brain. When we feel overwhelmed, it’s easy to lose track of things and for our heads to feel cluttered. Similarly, a cluttered home can lead to more stress, anxiety and unnecessary fuss. By organising (just a little!) you create a sense of control and familiarity in your home, and having a tidying system can actually help you focus and manage your emotions better.
Here are three reasons to organise with På(fyll).
But remember - how tidy you like to be is up to you. We’re not all home-tidying influencers with immaculate homes, and the most important thing is a system that works for you.
